Powerful low-frequency loudspeaker with 8 Ohm impedance and 75-mm aluminium voice coil. The chassis combines high power handling with good linearity and efficient operation. It is particularly suitable for tuned bass-reflex enclosures, but can also be used in numerous other enclosure designs – for example as a subwoofer or as a woofer in 2-way systems. **Technical features:** - The 75-mm voice coil uses Interleaved-Sandwich-Voice-Coil technology. A high-strength glass-fibre former carries the windings on both the inside and outside. The even mass distribution ensures a balanced coil and an especially linear drive. - This construction reduces the tendency towards eccentric movement, even under high loads. - The deeply profiled, curved paper cone is made of a special, high-strength wood pulp. Its design supports the most linear reproduction possible within the intended frequency range and helps control bell-mode resonances around the circumference of the cone. - A triple suspension made of linen-like material offers greater resistance to ageing and fatigue than conventional cotton suspensions. - The optimised magnet assembly was developed using in-house FEA-CAD analysis to maximise the flux density in the voice-coil gap area. - Air channels arranged between the basket and the upper magnet plate improve heat dissipation and support a long service life. Thanks to its robust construction, the loudspeaker is suitable for a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications. Use under demanding weather conditions is also possible.
