Originally designed as part of a VHD system for Super Live Audio, the VHD2.21 can be used in a variety of ways: at live concerts as well as in clubs and at dance events. In combination with other VHD components or the more compact models of the ES series, the subwoofer achieves extremely powerful low-frequency reproduction down to 25 Hz. It can also be operated independently and is suitable for expanding sound reinforcement systems from other manufacturers. Despite its size, the VHD2.21 delivers exceptionally precise and fast bass reproduction with high dynamics. These characteristics are retained even at higher bass frequencies and are rarely found in classic 21-inch subwoofers, which are generally designed primarily as effect subwoofers. A single VHD2.21 can be operated with just one VHD3200. Although the construction is larger than that of previous subwoofers, it remains true to the company philosophy: maximum performance in the most compact design possible.
