Description

The VHD2000 acts as the control and amplification unit for the VHD2.0 system. This three-way, rack-mounted unit contains amplifiers for the high-frequency, mid-frequency and mid-bass sections. It also includes all processing and control electronics required for the subwoofer system. The proprietary hybrid signal-processing system combines the finest available analogue and digital technologies. It provides complete control over the audio system, including equalisation, overdrive protection, thermal protection and user-adjustable setup parameters. Time alignment and phase correction are handled by KV2’s new 20 MHz digital delay line, which provides the highest sampling rate of any currently available digital loudspeaker processor. Once the setup has been completed, the VHD2000 manages all system functions and ensures optimal performance.
