The new star in the sound reinforcement sky: This coaxial NEXO P+18 follows an exceptional loudspeaker concept worldwide. Sound pressure levels previously known primarily from horn-loaded systems are generated precisely and cleanly from a versatile speaker cabinet. At the same time, the cabinet remains pleasantly easy to handle. In combination with selected NEXO 18" subwoofers or the new short-horn-loaded L20, sound reinforcement solutions with impressive performance are created. As with the entire P+-series, the speaker can be operated in any position. Three connector panels and two speaker flanges are provided for this purpose. The standard dispersion of 60 x 60 degrees can easily be changed to an asymmetrical characteristic of 50–90 x 40 degrees using special flanges, similar to the NEXO PS-series. In addition, a flange with 90 x 40 degrees is available. Efficiency and maximum sound pressure are particularly noteworthy: A P18 reaches up to 142 dB and thus performs at the level of some horn-loaded top cabinets or line-array modules.
