Since its market launch in June 2021, this system has immediately recorded very high demand. The ID84 is the first line array developed by NEXO – also referred to as “Vertical” – and impresses with its sound compared with many solutions in its market environment. The patented high-frequency section is located in front of the 4" loudspeakers. This means that the sound column remains continuous even when additional ID84 elements are coupled. The vertical dispersion can be switched between 10° and 25°, while the horizontal dispersion angle of 100° ensures a particularly extensive spatial presentation. In addition to combining two ID84 units, which can for example be used inverted in relation to each other, connection with ID84L is also possible. This Low-Extension expands the frequency range upwards from the bass, but does not itself have a tweeter. The more elements are coupled together, the more strongly the lower frequency ranges are focused. The intended configuration is a vertical combination of up to four line arrays.
