The speakers were initially used in continuous rental service or fixed installations and were subsequently used by us at demanding events. Their visual and technical condition is therefore exceptionally good. The existing flying rails allow uncomplicated suspension. With a suitable Hinge-Adapter, 2 top units can each be flown precisely one below the other. The angle can be adjusted to form a precisely aligned point-source array cluster. As a low-frequency supplement, either 4 B1-15 basses including Wheelboards or 4 horn-loaded double-15“ systems ISBN 2.0 are available. The latter are based on the SI-2000 bass and deliver a particularly powerful horn sound. This combination is exceptional in this form. For additional infra components, the system can optionally be supplemented with current subwoofers such as the STM S118, the L18 or the L20. All components are ready for connection and can, if desired, be sold as a “Plug ’n’ Play” solution including cables with a maximum length of 10 m. This is not “rocked-out” equipment, but well-maintained technology in reasonable condition. The front foams were replaced regularly. If desired, they can be removed so that the honeycomb-structured sheet metal behind them becomes visible, creating a distinctive appearance; a sample photo is available for this. The electronics were regularly subjected to electrical inspections. For operation, a large amplification system matched to the performance data, including the original NX242 controller, is available. The general scope of delivery specifies one Camco Tecton 38.4, labelled PTD 4000 and nearly as new, as well as 3 QSC PLX 3402 power amplifiers. This allows up to 6 basses to be operated. The combination is fully “Plug ’n’ Play” ready for use. In addition, new NXAMPS can be purchased. The horn-loaded PA combines high efficiency with very good resolution, dynamic reproduction and plenty of headroom. It has rarely been so easy to achieve high-quality sound in this field. While other manufacturers prominently highlight current features, NEXO systems have always been able to offer these properties. This understatement is based not only on a lead of decades, especially with genuine system controllers, but also on product quality and corresponding honest communication. In the mid/high-frequency range, approximately 2x 1,136 W at 8 Ohm are possible when one top unit is operated per channel. With 2 top units per channel, approximately 2x 1,900 W at 4 Ohm are available. In the bass range, each cabinet delivers around 950 W when using the B1-15, or approximately 1,700 W with the ISBN 2.0.
