We offer original chassis for the first speakers of the PS10 series, not for the PS10R2 (see example photos). The refurbished chassis are fitted with a new Recone-Kit by experienced specialists in our own workshop. This gives them a condition that appears almost like new, both visually and technically. All prices include 19 % VAT. The designation HPBPS10 was originally used for this chassis; later it became known under the designation N1068R. The HPB10-8 is a different chassis, used in the last versions of the older series. 1x N1068R-8, used and freshly reconed, with replacement Recone-Kit: 279 €, provided that you send us an identical, reconeable defective chassis beforehand. With modern diaphragm impregnation, the price is 289,- €. 1x HPB10-8, new and in original packaging: 357,- €. The price is reduced to 319,99 € if you send us an identical, reconeable defective chassis beforehand or have your existing chassis reconed by us. EXPERT TIP: In our view, statements claiming that an ordinary replacement chassis can be used in the PS10 without problems are not reliable. The original comprises more than merely the OEM manufacturer’s standard chassis. If components that are not true to the original are used, this can very probably result in losses in quality, performance and, in particular, service life. You would like to have one of your defective speaker chassis reconed Not every chassis can be reconed. We use exclusively original Recone-Kits. If these are not available, we do not carry out the corresponding repair. So-called “Aftermarket” sets generally do not produce the desired result based on experience; we accept no liability whatsoever for this. Reconing is also excluded if magnets are chipped or split, the basket is deformed, or non-removable dirt or residue is present in the air gap. Some chassis also have model variants that are fundamentally not reconeable. A final assessment is only possible once the defective chassis has been received by us for inspection. Please therefore send the chassis carefully and with sufficient protection. Every package must be able to withstand a fall from at least 1 m without the chassis being damaged. Use as much padding material as possible and ideally double packaging. If no fixed price for reconing or replacement is stated in this listing, we generally do not prepare individual quotations, as comparable costs usually arise. The respective Recone-Kit or diaphragm is charged at customary market prices – based on German online offers – plus, depending on the work involved, 80,00 to 100,00 € including 19 % VAT for labor, consumables, disposal and similar expenses. Shipping costs are additional and are listed below. Shipping is always at your own risk. For particularly rare chassis, for example from the NEXO-SI-2000 series as well as the first MSI and TS series, we recommend personal delivery and collection whenever possible.
