For the refurbishment, our specialists use exclusively original spare parts from the respective manufacturer. We completely avoid aftermarket products, which often differ significantly from the original in terms of quality and construction. As a result, the refurbished chassis reach a condition that is visually and technically barely distinguishable from a new product. You would like to have one of your defective speaker chassis reconed Not every chassis can be refurbished. We use exclusively original Recone kits. If these are not available for a particular model, we do not carry out reconing for it. So-called aftermarket sets generally do not produce the desired result; we accept no liability for this. Reconing is also excluded if the magnet has chips or cracks, the basket is warped, or there are non-removable residues in the air gap. Some chassis also exist in model variants that are fundamentally not reconable. A binding assessment is only possible after the defective chassis has arrived at our premises and been inspected. Please send us the chassis for inspection and pack it particularly carefully. Every parcel must be able to withstand a drop from at least one metre without the chassis being damaged. Therefore, use sufficient padding and, if possible, double packaging. If no fixed price for reconing or exchange is stated in the listing, we normally do not prepare an individual quotation, as the costs generally consist of the usual components: The respective Recone kit or diaphragm is charged at market-standard prices, based on German online offers. Depending on the work involved, 80.00 to 100.00 € including 19% VAT is charged for labour, small materials, disposal and related activities. Shipping costs are additional and are listed further below. Shipping is always carried out at your risk. For particularly rare chassis, such as NEXO SI-2000 and units from the first MSI and TS series, we therefore recommend bringing the chassis in person if possible.
