The exceptional GEO SUB provides particularly high sound radiation towards the front across more than three octaves, thereby avoiding numerous typical problems of omnidirectional low-frequency systems. The high efficiency is provided by a front-loaded 18" driver with a maximum sound pressure level of 140–143 dB. Two side-firing 12" drivers support the controlled cardioid low-frequency characteristic by reducing rearward radiation through precise cancellation of rearward sound components. With the NX242 TDcontrollers and the required NXtension expander cards, advanced digital filter sets as well as new, proprietary algorithms are available. This optimizes the phase response and extends the cardioid LF control of the GEO SUB from the midbass to the subbass range. The Over/Under-GEOD-BUMPER enables the flying of up to 16 GEO SUBs in one array and also offers various options for setting up a stacked system on stage.
