The 3-way stereo speaker system in white consists of an active and a passive speaker and is always sold as a pair. In combination with input devices available separately or as a set, such as the WP523 wall panel, it is suitable for numerous applications. With an output of up to 2 × 40 Watt, the system produces clear and powerful sound. Together with the WP523, classrooms, meeting rooms and presentation tables, among other spaces, can be provided with sound. Voice signals from a microphone can be mixed with music signals from sources such as a laptop, CD player or MP3 player and played back audibly for an audience. The input sources are connected via the RJ45 connection on the rear of the active speaker. Separate controls for bass and treble are available for sound adjustment. The signal is transmitted differentially at increased voltage, making it immune to interference and noise from external devices. Distances of up to 500 meters between the input device and speaker can be bridged using an inexpensive twisted CAT5 cable. The magnetic shielding prevents interference caused by radiation from external devices. The scope of delivery includes a sturdy, powder-coated steel bracket for mounting.
