Description

As a multi-format transmitter for DGKat™ twisted-pair connections, the module features four inputs: computer graphics video, HDMI, DVI and DisplayPort. An additional corresponding input is available for unbalanced stereo audio signals. Switching can be performed using the integrated “Step-in” button. The signal input currently in use is detected automatically. The device processes both digital audio embedded in the signal and analog stereo audio supplied separately. In combination with the centrally deployed DGKat™ Step-In switcher VP−81SIDN, the “Show-Me” function can be used. In installations with multiple multi-format connection modules, this displays the image and audio signal present at the respective participant connection on the display via the central switcher. The Step-in function can also be activated via a contact input. The selection between the locally connected signal sources can also be switched this way.
