The Whirlwind AES-SP1x2 operates passively and distributes a single AES/EBU data stream to two identical outputs. A dual-sided secondary transformer is installed at the input, while each output is isolated by its own isolation transformer. The three-transformer circuit achieves very good data integrity as well as high separation between the two outputs.
