A female XLR input is provided for this purpose, connected to six male XLR outputs. The solution is suitable, for example, for integrating additional amplifiers into an existing system, connecting multiple active loudspeakers, or splitting intercom lines. *Line-level outputs can normally be split up to six times without a clearly perceptible deterioration in signal quality. How many splits are actually possible in a given application depends on the level of the source signal as well as the impedances of the signal source and the connected destinations. It is not recommended to distribute a microphone signal to more than two outputs with this device. This can result in an unfavorable frequency response and a reduced signal level.
