The 9088 Networked Signal Processor serves as the central unit of the Soundweb system. Its 1U rack-mount design provides eight analogue audio inputs, eight analogue audio outputs, 200 MIPS of digital signal processing, two network connections and several control interfaces. A set of front-panel LEDs offers a quick overview of activity at the audio inputs and across the network. The front panel also includes a mini-DIN connector for the RS-232 serial interface, typically used to connect a computer for system configuration and control. This unit has always been installed in a rack and is therefore in good condition, showing only minor signs of wear. A warranty is provided with the sale.
