Thanks to its high image quality and versatile installation options, the powerful laser projector is particularly suitable for large-area projections and use in large venues. The laser light source reaches up to 16,000 lumens of white and colour brightness. This means that images remain clearly visible even in very bright indoor spaces and in suitable outdoor applications. Playback is in WUXGA format 16:10 with 1,920 × 1,200 pixels. The resolution can be further improved with 4K-Enhancement technology. The 3-chip-3LCD technology, high contrast ratio and frame interpolation ensure realistic images and smooth motion. HDR is also supported. Setup can be simplified via the NFC function; an NFC-enabled device is required for this. Apps for Android and iOS are also available. Epson EPCT can be used for installations with multiple projectors. An integrated media player is also included. The device is sealed against dust, supporting long-lasting and low-maintenance operation. The laser light source is projected to have a service life of more than 20,000 hours before its performance drops to 50%. The device is compatible with nine different lenses, including a short-throw lens. No lens is included with this offer. A stacking function is available for combining it with another EB-PU2116. A PixAlignTM camera can be attached optionally. When used outdoors, the device must not be exposed to adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow or extreme temperatures.
