The LWL special cable offered, with 4 x LC connectors and a length of 200 m, is mounted on a Schill cable drum and was designed for mobile applications. The cable construction is suitable for regular winding and unwinding and is designed for high data rates with simultaneously very low attenuation. Thanks to the integrated steel armoring, the fiber optic line is reliably protected against mechanical damage. This also makes it suitable for demanding applications at events, in military environments and in industry. The robust design with steel reinforcement and PUR outer jacket is walkable and withstands being driven over by vehicles. The PUR jacket supports a long service life and enables outdoor use. The black sheathing also allows discreet installations. At both cable ends there are removable protective caps with a practical pulling aid. These facilitate disassembly and enable the transmission of up to 8 LC fibers. The LWL-PRO series is designed for reliable operation even under particularly harsh conditions. Additional aramid fibers increase the tensile strength and protect the cable under high tensile loads. With a diameter of only approximately 5 mm, the cable remains very flexible and can be easily wound onto cable drums. Its resistant construction makes it particularly suitable for outdoor use. The version with aramid reinforcement combines high load-bearing capacity with good drum winding capability. Fibers in Singlemode and Multimode versions as well as various cable lengths are available from stock. The cable length on the auxiliary winding is 5 m.
