The LWL special cable offered, with a length of 200 m on a Schill cable drum, is designed for mobile applications. Its robust construction allows frequent winding and unwinding and has been designed for high data transmission rates combined with very low attenuation. The integrated steel armouring reliably protects the fibre-optic cable against mechanical damage and also makes it suitable for demanding applications at events, in the military and industrial sectors. The durable PUR jacket makes the cable resistant to foot traffic and also protects it from being driven over by vehicles. At the same time, the jacket material ensures a long service life and enables use in outdoor conditions. The black version supports unobtrusive installations. Removable protective sleeves at the cable ends with a practical pulling aid facilitate dismantling and enable the transmission of up to eight LC fibres. The version is designed to function reliably even under extreme conditions. Additional reinforcement with aramid fibres ensures that the cable can safely withstand high tensile loads. With a diameter of only approx. 5 mm, the cable remains very flexible and can be easily wound onto a drum. Its durable construction makes it particularly suitable for mobile and professional outdoor use. Fibres in Singlemode and Multimode versions as well as other cable lengths are available from stock.
