While stocks last, four used horn-loaded double-15“ bass systems are for sale. The loudspeakers are known under the designation I.S.B.N. 2.0 and represent a professional replica of the legendary NEXO Integrated System SI-2000 basses. Thanks to their construction, the systems convincingly cover the entire bass spectrum: both the sub-bass range and classic kick bass are reliably reproduced. In the original system configuration, reproduction even extends into the lower mid-bass range. Unpleasant effects such as the “beating” known from some other systems do not occur. The special horn and cabinet construction allows several bins to be stacked into large units. This creates expansive horn areas—as an example, see the picture with twelve basses. At the same time, crossover frequencies to the top units of up to 300 Hz are easily possible. Fitted are RCF long-excursion drivers, each with a rated power handling of 800 W and an impedance of 4 Ohm. The internal wiring can optionally be configured for a total impedance of 8 Ohm or 2 Ohm. Thanks to their open system compatibility, the basses can be combined with top units from all manufacturers. For use with NEXO components, suitable presets are available in current NEXO-DTD controllers and NXAmps; we will be happy to provide their designations when purchasing. Suitable power amplifiers can also be purchased. Powerful sound in the field of horn-loaded PA systems has rarely been so straightforward to achieve. The performance meets current requirements: after all, two 15“ drivers provide more cone area than a single 21“ driver.
