Signal transmission is possible both analog and digital via AES3. In the Dante-Enabled version, four additional channels from a Dante Ethernet network are available as input options. Six fully parametric EQ bands as well as one Low- and one High-Shelving filter are available for the input signals. One of the bands can be used as an Allpass filter for phase alignment. The High-Shelving band operates as a phase-linear FIR filter. The integrated crossover supports the common Bessel, Butterworth and Linkwitz-Riley characteristics with slopes from 6 to 48 dB. Hardman filters enable particularly steep band separation with simultaneously reduced phase shift in the passband. The 24-dB/octave LIR crossover with linear phase completely avoids phase shifts while requiring only a fraction of the latency of a comparable FIR filter. Each output features eight fully parametric EQ bands and two Shelving filters. Several limiters operating in parallel reliably protect the connected loudspeakers. The VX-Peak limiter can be switched to a 2-band mode, allowing the high- and low-frequency drivers of a passively crossed-over enclosure to be protected separately. The Overshoot function ensures particularly unobtrusive limiter intervention. A thermo limiter with long time constants protects the loudspeaker components from overheating. In addition, the excursion limiter prevents damage caused by excessive diaphragm excursions. All parameters can be organized in presets and snapshots. Thanks to the intuitive group functions, even larger systems with several controllers can be conveniently managed and edited.
