The WSXa subwoofers are brand new, while the W8C enclosures are in very good condition and originate from a fixed installation. Designed as folded-horn subwoofers, the WSXa models reproduce extremely deep bass with maximum efficiency, speed and impact. They are intended for use with Wavefront Series loudspeakers, including the W8, W8C and W8 line-array enclosures. This makes them suitable for demanding touring applications requiring exceptionally high bass levels, as well as for club environments where contemporary dance music demands concentrated, powerful low-frequency energy. The award-winning W8C combines compact dimensions and low weight with fast rigging and impressive performance. It delivers outstanding power even in smaller configurations than previously possible with comparable loudspeakers. At high SPL levels, the audience benefits from a musical, warm and intelligible sound. Its advanced three-way design combines a horn-loaded 12" (300 mm) low-mid cone driver, a 6.5" (165 mm) high-mid driver with toroidal phase plug and horn, and a 1" (25 mm) exit high-frequency driver optimised for the highest frequencies. This configuration provides exceptionally clean and transparent reproduction, significantly reduced distortion and increased overall output without forcing any individual component to its limits.
