Their special feature is the use of MOS-FETs with lateral geometry. This enables high operational safety, reliable continuous operation and excellent sound reproduction. The powerful amplifiers are also designed for operation at 2 Ω. The power amplifiers combine high quality with efficient operation. Features include newly developed limiters for clipping, several protection circuits with semiconductor relays, a monoblock housing, a high damping factor and versatile connection options. MF-8: 2 x 400W (4Ω) MF-12: 2 x 600W (4Ω) MF-16: 2 x 800W (4Ω) MF-24: 2 x 1200W (4Ω) Features: PROTECTION: Protection against switch-on and switch-off transients as well as electronic protection against short circuits and interruptions. In addition, the output transistors and the power supply are protected against overheating. A semiconductor relay also prevents direct current at the output. SPEAKON: In addition to a standardized dual connection with a diameter of 4 mm per channel in accordance with EN-60065, SPEAKON sockets are provided. BALANCED: The electronically balanced input circuits ensure high resistance to interference and noise, even over long cable runs. COOLING: Temperature-controlled high-current fans ensure reliable heat dissipation. The supported fan circuits direct the air from the front to the rear through the unit. POLARITY: The input polarity can be selected via an internal switch. Although the A.E.S. organization currently recommends 2+ as the standard, a large part of audio technology is still wired with polarity 3+. CLASS H: The most powerful model in the series uses Class H output stages. This configuration improves the efficiency of the amplifier and power supply, increases performance and simultaneously reduces weight. SENSITIVITY: Different input sensitivities can be selected via internal settings on the circuit board of the input module. This allows the power amplifier to be adapted to the rest of the audio equipment.
