The sensitivity of 6 mV/Pa is matched to speech levels and the usual input sensitivity of most wireless transmitters. With a suitable power supply, the microphone handles sound pressure levels of up to 144 dB SPL. The microphone boom can be detached from the headset and mounted on either the left or right side of the head. A “Drop-Stop” and the Double-Vent-Protection-System protect the microphone from penetrating moisture and help prevent failures.
