A single base station can register up to 15 BP200 Beltpacs and/or WH220 all-in-one wireless headsets in any combination. Up to four of these devices can transmit at the same time. By linking two or more base stations, the system capacity can be expanded: for example, two base stations can accommodate 30 Beltpacs/headsets, with up to eight units transmitting simultaneously. The Beltpacs and headsets support both push-to-talk and hands-free operation, while the base station operator can disable transmission from all connected Beltpacs/headsets. The DX200 is compatible with cabled RTS and Clear-Com intercom systems. Its intercom channel allows 2-wire and 4-wire wired systems to be used at the same time. A second 4-wire intercom channel can also be connected via the AUX In and AUX Out ports. A local headset may be connected to the DX200, allowing the base station operator to communicate with crew members on the wired intercom channel, with the Beltpacs/headsets only, or across all channels. The BS200 base station can run from standard DC power or from a vehicle electrical system, making it suitable for mobile use. The power supply and cable are included with the base station.
