Computer-based NexSys control includes gain adjustment, sequential power management and real-time load monitoring. Monitoring data covers input and output VU levels, DC protection, thermal protection, IGM, clipping status, power state, AC mains, heatsink temperature, gain selection, ground-lift status and audio return. An integrated LED display provides in-rack access to temperature, gain, AC voltage, IP address, amplifier ID, and CobraNet bundle and channel status. Separate indicators show channel fault and mute conditions, along with Ethernet link and data activity. No additional hardware is required to make the amplifier network-ready. The RJ-45 network connection is provided through a Category 5-compatible Neutrik EtherCon connector for a secure connection. NxDSP Module : The plug-in DSP board performs different functions according to the installed module.
