The DSP-based studio monitors are suitable for nearfield operation in recording and project studios as well as in the field of post production. Their high-quality coaxial loudspeaker design combines an 8" woofer with a 1" tweeter. The possible frequency range extends from 44 Hz to 20 kHz. Amplification is provided by a digital 100-watt amplifier, which ensures extremely low distortion even at higher levels. Digital adaptation to the room The integrated DSP enables precise fine-tuning and adaptation to the acoustic conditions of the respective installation location. Thanks to the bass reflex port positioned on the front, placement close to a wall is also possible without any problems. As with the Q Series, the company's proprietary, digitally controlled coaxial “Zero-Point Reference™” transducer is used. Together with the internal DSP, it supports matched signal reproduction between the speakers and allows very precise calibration. The result is a balanced, detailed sound with clear midrange reproduction, precise bass localization and convincing reproduction of low frequencies.
