This makes them some of the early active loudspeakers with Dante support. An EtherCON connection is available for audio transmission and remote control via the free SL Room Control application. In conjunction with a Dante-enabled mixing console, a fully networked audio system is created. All that is required is a standard Gigabit Ethernet switch and Audinate’s digital Dante media networking technology. Configuration is straightforward and enables a true plug-and-play connection for digital audio signals. Mixing consoles without Dante support, such as a first-generation StudioLive model, can also be integrated via the analog inputs of an appropriately equipped AI loudspeaker. The incoming signal can then be transmitted over CAT5 cables in the Dante network. This makes the solution particularly suitable for extensive FOH systems.
