Manufacturer's part number: 1003-02 The L3 Look, signed by Iain A. Neil, was created based on decades of experience in developing defining cinematographic lenses, particularly anamorphic optics. Although spherical lenses are used, the L3 conveys the unusual astigmatic characteristics of classic anamorphics. It also imitates the vertical and horizontal depth-of-field effects typical of historical anamorphic lenses. Flares and the characteristic bokeh of these optics are omitted. Unlike many other Looks, which primarily create halation, glow, or simple field curvature, the L3 delivers a considerably more complex effect with additional off-axis characteristics.
