For sale is a viewfinder with a technical defect. After approximately 30 to 45 minutes, the device freezes and can subsequently no longer be activated from standby mode. Normally, the OLED display switches on automatically as soon as you approach the eyecup. In this case, the viewfinder can only be put back into operation once the 12-V cable has been briefly disconnected and then reconnected. In order to preserve the device if possible, it was sent in for inspection. After examination, we were informed that repairing it would not be economically viable due to the costs involved. The viewfinder is therefore now being offered cheaply as a donor for spare parts. Overall, it is fundamentally in good condition. The viewfinder was purchased in spring 2021. A few weeks ago, it began switching itself off for no apparent reason. The device has rarely been exposed to daylight; even during the few EB assignments, it was not exposed to difficult or adverse conditions.
