Its 3 RU housing is designed to provide medium to high output power for low-impedance loads from 4 to 16 ohms, making it suitable for mobile applications as well as permanent installations. The amplifier includes setups for all current d&b loudspeakers, along with a linear operating mode. Each channel offers independently adjustable signal delay of up to 340 msec (100 m / 328.1 ft). A four-band parametric equalizer is also available per channel, with optional boost, cut and notch filtering. Configuration is handled via the digital rotary encoder and LCD display. The autosensing switch-mode power supply supports 120 V and 230 V mains at 50–60 Hz; 100/200 V operation is available as an option. With EP5 connectors and suitable five-wire cabling, d&b SenseDrive provides precise control of LF drivers in d&b loudspeakers operating in 2-Way Active mode, as well as in actively driven d&b subwoofers. This enables highly accurate bass reproduction, including at high sound-pressure levels. NL4 and NL8 connector versions are also available. RJ45 connections provide access to the Remote network via CAN-Bus. d&b System check confirms that the system is operating within predefined conditions, while d&b Load monitoring performs continuous, automatic impedance surveillance. Both functions can identify the status of LF or HF drivers in systems with multiple elements, including configurations with passive crossovers.
