We are offering a stock of 16 like-new CS118 PA subwoofers from the Concert Audio series. The units have not yet been used, but exhibit minor manufacturer-related differences in the finish: Depending on the individual unit, the surface may appear somewhat rougher, glossier or more matte. The C SUB CS 118 is designed as a compact, direct-radiating 1x-18-inch subwoofer and is suitable as a powerful low-frequency extension for the COSMO Line Array and the CONTOUR X point-source speakers. Its high efficiency and very high power handling provide ample dynamic reserves down to the deepest frequency ranges. All four Speakon-NL4 connectors are fully wired in parallel. The CS 118 can be assigned to one of two speaker paths using the pin-assignment switch. Two NL4 sockets are located on the rear, with two more on the front. This makes wiring cardioid setups particularly straightforward and time-saving. For operation, powerful amplifiers from the LAB Gruppen PLM+ or Powersoft X series are recommended. Special filter settings are available for these controller amps to implement cardioid and end-fire configurations. The enclosure is made of birch multiplex and is PU-coated. The robust steel front grille features anti-corrosion treatment and a powder coating. Protective caps shield the Speakon input sockets from dirt and moisture. This makes the subwoofer designed for long-lasting and reliable use under the demanding conditions of rental operation.
