It is suitable for theater, club and concert applications, delivering high sound pressure levels with exceptionally low distortion for clear intelligibility and faithful reproduction. The biamplified loudspeaker incorporates two proprietary 12-inch low-frequency cone drivers housed in a distinctive horn-loaded, vented enclosure. A single high-frequency driver with a 70-degree horn handles the high-frequency range. Its rugged multiple-ply hardwood cabinet features handles and can optionally be equipped with aircraft-style rigging pan fittings. Operation requires a high-quality professional stereo power amplifier capable of supplying up to 400 watts per channel continuously into 4 ohms. The amplifier should provide a signal voltage gain ranging from 10 dB minimum to 30 dB maximum.
