Description
Flightcase included Accessories: monitor bracket and dust cover Building on the Quantum 338 platform, this compact and rugged control surface combines the processing capabilities of the series with a practical format. The console features the design developments introduced in 2020 and is powered by three large-scale seventh-generation FPGAs. It combines familiar, proven workflows with substantial processing capacity, innovative functions and the complete range of tools from the series. Under the hood A 17-inch multitouch display with 1000-nit brightness provides clear and responsive control. The surface also includes a meter bridge and soft quick-select buttons for fast access to key functions. Forty-one individual TFT LCDs show channel data, metering, bank information, macros and other essential details. Control is provided by 25 touch-sensitive 100 mm faders arranged in two banks of 12, along with a dedicated user-assignable master fader featuring high-resolution metering. The left-hand section of the surface can be adapted using the mounting bracket. It can accommodate a laptop for creative control, a KLANG:kontroller for immersive operation or an additional display. This screen may be used for the KLANG:app, a plug-in computer, the console overview or the channel view for the left fader bank, effectively creating a dual-screen configuration. The system supports up to 96 input channels, 48 busses and a 12 x 12 matrix, with full channel processing throughout. Standard processing tools include Mustard Processing channel strips, Spice Rack native FPGA plug-in-style processing, Nodal Processing and True Solo. I/O Although the console has a compact format, its connectivity remains comprehensive. Local I/O: 8 analogue inputs, 8 analogue outputs and 2 AES I/O, providing 4 channels. MADI: two redundant MADI inputs and outputs at 48 kHz, configurable as four MADI I/O. At 96 kHz, the system operates with two MADI I/O while retaining the full channel count. Optocore: support for one or two Optocore loops is available as an option. Each loop carries 504 audio channels and can accommodate up to 14 racks or a combination of racks and tie-lines. With two loops, the system provides 1,008 Optocore audio channels and supports up to 28 racks. UBMADI: the engine includes 48-channel UBMADI, allowing a laptop to be connected via USB for 48 channels of recording and playback. DMI: two dedicated DMI slots allow the console to be configured with different card options according to the requirements of a tour or event. Available choices include a Dante module and an automatic microphone mixing module. Each DMI slot adds 64 x 64 I/O. Waves: Waves connectivity can also be added for SoundGrid processing, providing an additional 64 x 64 I/O.
