The fixture combines the proven technical solutions of the MMX series with numerous additional functions and creative effects. This provides lighting designers with versatile design options using just one fixture. In combination with the optical system, the Philips-MSR-Platinum-35 lamp produces a light output that significantly exceeds that of many conventional 1200-W products. The innovative internal framing shutter module enables the implementation of various shapes and dynamic sequences. It features four separately controllable shutter blades and can be rotated by 180°. By changing the lens, the fixture can be used either as an especially uniform wash with a beam angle of up to 54° or as a compact beam effect with a narrow 3° angle. In both operating modes, the extensive functions of the MMX family remain available: full CMY color mixing, a powerful color wheel, an adjustable CTO system, variable hot-spot control, and motorized zoom and focus. The features are complemented by rotating and indexable glass gobos.
