Description

The DZONE88 is a digital matrix with eight digital audio inputs and eight digital audio outputs. The unit can be fully configured and, thanks to its multi-zone router, enables numerous solutions for both simple and complex installations. Setup can be carried out via USB or Ethernet using the supplied management software. The eight balanced inputs support microphone and line levels. Each input can be freely routed to the eight outputs. A powerful DSP processor is available for comprehensive signal processing. Functions include phantom power, Anti-Larsen, noise gate, compressor, parametric EQ and AutoMix. On the output side, parametric EQ, delay, compressor and limiter are also available. The unit also features eight GPIO ports that can be configured and used for individual functions. It is a 19"-format installation unit with one rack unit of height. The connections are made via Phoenix connectors. The unit is new and was originally procured for a customer order. It was only unpacked once for testing and trying out, as the order ultimately did not go ahead. An affordable and well-functioning 8 x 8 DSP solution. The software is visually based on a mixing console and is therefore intuitive to operate even without extensive training. An external control panel, which is unfortunately somewhat rudimentary, is also available on request.
