The powerful model offers high output power, a 125° conical dispersion pattern and a frequency range down to 70 Hz. Key features Full-range speaker with a single 114-mm driver (4.5") in a bass-reflex enclosure. The 125° conical dispersion angle ensures clear and intelligible music and voice reproduction when ceiling-mounted or suspended. Integrated multi-tap transformer with innovative thumbwheel adjustment. The tap can be conveniently adjusted from the underside of the speaker cover. The Shortcan design allows installation in shallower ceilings with a minimum depth of 153 mm (6.0"). Thanks to the consistent voicing throughout the entire FreeSpace DS product family, the DS 16, DS 40 and DS 100 speakers can be used together in one system. This ensures consistent sound quality. Suitable accessories are available for different mounting methods, including a ceiling bracket, an adjustable tile bridge, a pendant mounting kit and a square cover.
