It functions as an 8-way DMX distributor and booster, equipped with 3-pin XLR input and output connections. The OPTO BRANCH 8™/5 has the same 19-inch, 1U rack format and provides eight DMX outputs, with 5-pin XLR input and output connectors. The incoming DMX signal is divided into eight independent outputs. Each branch provides electrical isolation of up to 1000 V between separate branches within a daisy-chain setup. The built-in isolation helps minimise ground-loop issues, while the signal buffering and amplification ensure more stable, precise and reliable DMX data transmission. All outputs use 5-pin XLR sockets and are electronically isolated from one another for continuous, interference-free data flow. Every output is fitted with its own driver for boosting the incoming signal. The unit also features an automatic switching power supply compatible with 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz.
