For reliable streams under demanding conditions, this streaming box offers a particularly fail-safe solution from the professional broadcast sector. As a comparatively affordable entry-level option, it is suitable both for mobile use and stationary operation. - It can be operated either mobile or as a permanent installation. Power is supplied with 12 V via a power adapter or, for example, via V-Mount batteries. An internal battery is also integrated. This allows the battery to be replaced without interrupting the stream; even a brief power outage does not terminate the transmission. - Transmission takes place in H.264 with a variable bitrate. If less bandwidth is temporarily available, the data rate is automatically reduced instead of aborting the stream. - BONDING allows up to four Internet connections to be used simultaneously: LAN, WLAN, and two mobile network connections via compatible USB modems. The USB modems are not included in the offer. Alternatively, mobile phones can also be used via USB cable for tethering. The available connections are used in parallel and utilized according to their respective bandwidth. If one or more lines fail, the stream remains active as long as at least one connection continues to function. Important: The bonding function requires a paid subscription, which can also be taken out monthly. Without a Subscription, only a single connection can be used. - HDMI and SDI are available as inputs. This is the more expensive version with SDI. - A compact control monitor is located directly on the device. The stream can be started and stopped there. Setup and configuration are carried out via a web interface that can be opened in a browser on a computer or mobile device. We used the box mainly in the studio and at events where the most stable possible streaming connection was important. In the studio, the house connection was used via LAN and backed up by two mobile network USB modems. The signal from the vision mixer was fed in via the SDI input. The key advantage is that brief connection problems do not immediately cause the transmission to be interrupted. Numerous platforms such as Vimeo or YouTube do not readily support resuming an interrupted stream. A new stream could potentially make embedded broadcasts and links that have already been published unusable. During our approximately ten years of use, this problem never occurred with the box. practical details: - The device is used and was purchased in 2017. It was used almost exclusively indoors, in the studio and at business events. - Not a rental device: The box was part of our permanently installed production console. The HDMI connection was not used, only SDI. The connectors are therefore still in good mechanical condition. - The original packaging and all accessories are included (see pictures). - We are the original owners and purchased the device from Teltec.de. The manufacturer's warranty has since expired. - Shipping within the EU is fully insured with UPS. Payment via PayPal with buyer protection is possible.
