This device is a bidirectional fiber-optic media converter. In the multimode version, it enables transmission distances of up to 300 meters. Its particular flexibility lies in the fact that it can convert signals in both directions. If additional outputs are required at short notice, two devices in the 9.5-inch format can be combined into a 19-inch assembly. This makes it possible to achieve, cost-effectively, a level of performance equivalent to that of a CVT4K-M product. The converter is also flexible when it comes to installation: It can be installed horizontally, suspended or in almost any other suitable location. As is customary with the manufacturer's devices, the hardware is consistently designed for practical use.
