The D7 WL1 was specially developed for singers in live applications and in the studio and is intended for the HT4500/4000 handheld transmitters. Thanks to AKG’s patented Laminat-Varimotion technology, it reliably handles high loads and strong sound pressure peaks—even under demanding stage conditions. In terms of sound, the capsule impresses with a very detailed resolution that comes particularly close to the character of condenser microphones. At the same time, the sound remains powerful and assertive across the entire frequency range, as expected from a dynamic capsule.
