The cardioid polar pattern effectively reduces disturbing ambient noise and makes the microphone particularly suitable for singers, keyboard players, drummers, guitarists and dancers. The continuously adjustable spring-steel neckband ensures a secure and comfortable fit. The cable is routed behind the head. Depending on requirements, the microphone can be mounted on either the right or left side of the band. A miniature gooseneck allows precise alignment of the capsule. The external elastic suspension ensures high body-noise attenuation. Operation is possible via an external phantom power supply. For power supply, the optional B29 L battery power supply, WMS series bodypack transmitters or alternatively the MPA V L phantom power adapter together with an external phantom power source can be used with the C520 L.
