Description

The compact Wi-Fi adapter is intended for use with XDCAM-HD422 camcorders such as PDW-700, PDW-F800 and PMW-500*. After connecting to the camcorder, it enables communication with the XDCAM Browser software as well as with other mobile devices on which the XMPilot application is used. (WLAN must first be activated on the cameras via the CBKZ-UPG01 software key.) With XMPilot, the XDCAM metadata workflow is directly available to directors, producers, production assistants and camera operators. This reduces the time required to transfer recorded images, as well as the duration of ingesting. At the same time, workflow efficiency in post-production is improved.
