Manufacturer’s part number: 1003-01 The L3 Tuner is a look signed by Module-8 co-founder Iain A. Neil, based on decades of experience developing some of the most influential cinematic lenses – particularly anamorphic models. Using spherical optics, L3 produces the characteristic astigmatic properties of classic anamorphic lenses. At the same time, it recreates the vertical and horizontal depth-of-field effects of vintage anamorphic glass, without its typical flares or anamorphic bokeh. While many look solutions are primarily focused on halation, glow, or simple field curvature, the L3 Tuner produces a significantly more complex effect with an additional off-axis characteristic.
