Description

The M20 is a direct-radiating monitor speaker designed for use with system amplifiers. The 2-way system operates with two 10″ cone speakers and a 1.4″ high-frequency driver. A sophisticated passive crossover separates the two ways coherently in phase across several octaves. This enables low-distortion, uncompressed reproduction even at high levels. The sound coverage is 80 x 60 degrees. Thanks to its dual 10″ configuration, the speaker delivers highly impulse-accurate low-frequency reproduction and generous reserves in the important midrange. The generously dimensioned mid-high-frequency horn combines wide dispersion with high directivity. The setups based on FIR filters ensure reliable operation, linear phase and transmission response, as well as very good feedback resistance. In combination with the low-distortion construction, this results in a particularly musical and precisely responsive speaker. Together with the system subwoofers SW18 and SW28, powerful drumfill solutions can be implemented.
