Description
The self-powered stage monitor combines a 15-inch low-frequency cone driver with a 3-inch diaphragm compression driver mounted on a constant-Q horn. Phase-corrected signal processing and an integrated dual-channel amplifier are housed in a robust enclosure designed for demanding stage use. With an extended response down to 30 Hz, the system delivers clean, high-level reproduction of bass and drums. Its design also provides improved linearity, exceptionally low distortion and reduced sensitivity to feedback. Maximum output reaches 132 dB peak SPL at a distance of 1 meter. A symmetrical 45° × 45° horizontal and vertical dispersion pattern ensures controlled coverage in both floor-wedge and flown configurations. The Constant-Q horn maintains consistent beamwidth across both planes while minimizing side lobes. The built-in amplifier uses a proprietary Class AB/bridged topology with complementary MOSFET output stages. It delivers 350 watts burst per channel with total distortion below 0.02%. Voltage-controlled limiters prevent excessive driver excursion and help manage voice-coil temperature. This protects the drivers without introducing power-compression effects, allowing the monitor to maintain high sound-pressure levels over extended periods. The intelligent AC power supply features automatic voltage selection, EMI filtering, voltage-transient protection and soft-start functionality. The monitor is also compatible with the Windows-based RMS remote monitoring system, which provides access to the main operating parameters of the amplifier and drivers.
