The professional data splitter is designed for permanent installation and is supplied with adapters for mounting on DIN rails. The model is available in two variants: - Version with RJ45 connectors for quick cabling with common standard accessories - Version with terminal blocks, particularly practical for installation by electricians The incoming signal is distributed to up to four outputs, which are galvanically cleanly isolated from one another. This makes it possible to limit faults within the cabling to the respective area without affecting the entire installation. DMX 512-A including RDM (Remote Device Management) is supported. Bidirectional communication remains available across the splitter, so that RDM data can be transmitted for controlling and managing the lighting. This enables professional, standards-compliant star-shaped distribution of the DMX signal. All devices in an installation can also be configured and monitored via the DMX cable. Individual channels can be independently excluded from RDM feedback. This particularly reduces a common source of errors when using low-cost data splitters, as their DMX drivers sometimes do not operate in accordance with the standards and can cause uncontrolled reactions in combination with RDM. The Houston X software is also available for monitoring.
