In addition to the regular “Normal” mode, bass arrays can be set up using several subwoofers. Prepared presets are already available for this, so the necessary calculations do not have to be carried out manually. When using several subwoofers, the “Cardioid” and “Endfire” presets bundle the energy and sound radiation towards the front and reduce it in the direction of the stage. In Endfire mode, at least two subwoofers are arranged one behind the other with a specified spacing. This allows a level increase of 3-6 dB towards the front. In Cardioid mode, at least two subwoofers are positioned next to or above one another without spacing. The unit with the Cardioid preset activated is oriented towards the stage. This creates an increase in sound towards the front of around 3 dB, while significant cancellation is achieved towards the stage side. This arrangement provides a quieter stage, especially at live concerts. Delay and phase position Delay and phase position can be adjusted manually. This makes it possible to achieve precise phase alignment, particularly in professional applications. X-Over settings The upper cutoff frequency is set via the X-Over function.
