General information: The device operates with the DVCAM format and records onto Magneto-Optical Disks (MO-Disk). For signal output, analog connections (Composite and S-Video), SDI (Serial Digital Interface), as well as DV via Firewire/i.LINK are available. Recording and playback functions: DVCAM in Standard-Play mode and DV in SP and LP recording are supported. Audio recording is performed at 16 Bit and 48 kHz; 4-channel audio recording is possible. SMPTE as well as Drop-Frame and Non-Drop-Frame modes are available for timecode processing. Video specifications: The resolution is 720 x 576 pixels in PAL and 720 x 480 pixels in NTSC format. PAL is processed at 25 frames per second, NTSC at 29.97 frames per second. The color space is analog as YCbCr 4:2:2 and, for SDI, according to ITU-R BT.601. The viewing angle is 90 degrees. Connections: For analog signals, Composite Video, S-Video, as well as audio connections in XLR and RCA format are provided. Digital output is via SDI (BNC) or DV (Firewire/i.LINK).
