PA subwoofer LD Systems DDQ SUB 212 with 1400 W RMS. Version: active and DSP-controlled. For low-frequency reproduction, two 12-inch speakers with neodymium magnets, custom-made drivers and 3-inch voice coils are used. The voice coils have a diameter of 76.5 mm. The Class-D power amplifier delivers 1400 W RMS, divided into 2 × 700 W. The frequency response ranges from 38 to 120 Hz. The maximum sound pressure level is 124 dB in continuous operation and 132 dB as a peak. The bandpass enclosure is made of 18-mm plywood and has a polyurea surface. The dimensions are 420 mm in width, 620 mm in height and 543 mm in depth. The weight is 34.5 kg. Protection is provided by a DSP-based “Look Ahead” limiter, short-circuit protection, RMS limiters for the speakers and power supply, as well as overvoltage protection. The features include 15 DSP presets, including 4 selectable cardioid setups, as well as 7 crossover frequencies between 80 and 120 Hz. Also included: 2 M20 threaded flanges, 3 corner handles and preparation for caster mounting. The controls include DSP presets, DSP/Gain Enable, Gain, Ground-Lift and Power. The indicators show DSP/Gain Disable, Operate, Peak Limit and Signal. For signal connection, 2 line inputs with XLR sockets are available. The 3 XLR line outputs consist of 2 × Input Link and 1 × Sat Out with 100-Hz high-pass filter. The power supply is provided by a switch-mode power supply at 180–264 V ~ and 47–63 Hz.
