Chest ascender The compact and lightweight rope clamp is suitable for professional work in hard-to-access areas and for rescue operations. A stainless steel reinforcement protects the highly stressed area against abrasion from the rope. Specifications • Lightweight, space-saving chest ascender. • For ascending a rope in conjunction with an ASCENSION rope clamp with handle. • Toothed cam with cleaning slot for reliable operation under different conditions, including on icy or muddy ropes. The stainless steel cam offers high corrosion resistance. • The area that may come into contact with the rope is protected against abrasion by a stainless steel reinforcement. • The safety catch can be opened by blocking it, enabling quick and uncomplicated operation. • The lower attachment hole is positioned so that the rope clamp lies flat against the chest area after attachment. • A SECUR shoulder strap can be attached to the upper attachment hole; this keeps the rope clamp correctly aligned.
