Description
Classic 19"-format microphone preamplifier with an analogue sound character. The circuit is based on the 1073 design by Rupert Neve and is implemented as a discrete Class-A amplifier with Fairchild transistors. Balanced, galvanically isolated transformers are available for signal routing; the microphone input is equipped with a shielded Carnhill transformer. The unit is also shielded against RF interference. 48-V phantom power, switchable microphone input impedance, 20 Hz–20 kHz (-0.5 dB) and 10 Hz–50 kHz (-3 dB). The microphone gain can be adjusted from 20 dB to 80 dB, and the line level from -20 dB to +10 dB. The output level can be selected up to a maximum of 20 dB.
